When I was younger I wasn’t really into visual art in general. And I didn’t realize it until I was older that myI never dreamed I’d grow up to be a super sexy mower vintage shirt and I love this great-grandmother, who was half black and half Native American, was a visual artist. She painted and made quilts and was very talented. She was my only experience of a black visual artist growing up and when I was little I didn’t even realize that what she was doing was actual art. Then I moved to Nashville as a young adult and it opened up a whole world of visual artists of all races. But I was absolutely drawn to black art and black artists.

I first saw Aaron Douglas’ work at the I never dreamed I’d grow up to be a super sexy mower vintage shirt and I love this Frist Center in Nashville, Tennessee and it inspired me so much that it totally changed the trajectory of what I was pursuing which was originally music. I started painting, sometimes similar content, and I haven’t stopped since. A strong, cold high pressure system moving from the north and setting up west of the Rockies can generate a damaging wind down the leeward slopes of the mountains, known as a bora. These episodes feature widespread high winds from the west or northwest into the adjacent plains at speeds which can exceed 100 mph. Much more rare are those episodes when low pressure is across the Rockies, and strong, cold high pressure is across the great plains.
